Northern Rivers ↔ Brisbane Transfers

Brisbane is where most long-haul and international travel to the Northern Rivers begins and ends. It is a two-hour drive, which is exactly the distance where a private car beats a connecting flight, a coach or a self-drive hire car on both time and comfort.

The journey north

Northbound from Byron Bay the route joins the Pacific Motorway and runs through the Gold Coast, Logan and Brisbane's southern suburbs, then takes the Gateway Motorway to the airport, about two hours to the terminals and slightly less to the city.

Southbound we meet your flight at the domestic or international terminal, load your bags and drive straight through. Tolls on the Gateway and Logan motorways are inside the fixed fare, and there is time for a comfort stop if a long flight calls for one.

City, suburbs and cruise terminal

Brisbane CBD hotels, South Bank, the northern and southern suburbs and the Brisbane Cruise Terminal at Luggage Point are all straightforward from here. Because these fall outside the published airport fares, they are quoted on real road distance in the booking form.

Every Bay2Coast journey begins or finishes in the Northern Rivers. Our Brisbane service is designed to connect the city and airport with the region rather than provide Brisbane-only travel.

Fixed airport fares

Brisbane Airport fares to Byron Bay, Lennox Head and Ballina are published and include GST, tolls and airport access. Return bookings save 10% on the return leg.
