Answers to the questions we are asked most: routes and service area, fixed pricing and return discounts, flight delays and waiting time, cancellations, child seats and chauffeur hire.

Service and vehicle

Are your transfers private or shared? Every Bay2Coast transfer is private: you and your guests, your schedule, your vehicle. There are no shared pickups and no other passengers.

Which areas do you service? The Northern Rivers, including Byron Bay, Lennox Head and Ballina, with private transfers to and from Brisbane Airport, Gold Coast Airport and Ballina Byron Gateway Airport. For any other destination, request a custom quote through the booking form.

Do you provide child seats? Child seats are available on request. Please advise us when booking so everything is ready for your journey.

Fares and return discounts

Brisbane Airport to Byron Bay: $439 one way.
Brisbane Airport to Lennox Head: $449 one way.
Brisbane Airport to Ballina: $459 one way.
Gold Coast Airport to Byron Bay: $179 one way.
Gold Coast Airport to Lennox Head: $199 one way.
Gold Coast Airport to Ballina: $209 one way.
Ballina Airport to Byron Bay: $89 one way.
Ballina Airport to Lennox Head: $69 one way.
Other Northern Rivers journeys: priced on your exact pickup and destination, from $69. Chauffeur hire: half day up to 5 hours $600, full day up to 10 hours $1,200.
All fares include GST, airport access fees and standard road tolls. Book a return and the return leg is discounted by 10%.

Bookings, delays and cancellations

How do I book? Use the booking form to select your route, travel date and details. Online bookings are accepted up to 24 hours before pickup; phone bookings up to 2 hours prior, subject to driver availability.

What happens if my flight is delayed? We monitor all incoming flights. We typically wait up to 60 minutes from your scheduled pickup, or reschedule if availability allows.

What is your cancellation policy? Cancellations at least 48 hours before pickup receive a full refund less a $20 administration fee. Within 48 hours a 50% fee applies; within 2 hours, or a no-show, is charged at the full fare. Bookings can be amended up to 24 hours prior, subject to availability.
