The Tweed Coast sits directly between the Northern Rivers and the border: Pottsville, Cabarita Beach, Casuarina, Kingscliff and Fingal Head. It is the same stretch of coast, with almost no public transport between the towns, so nearly all of this travel is by road.
From Byron Bay it is roughly 45 minutes north to Pottsville and about an hour to Kingscliff, mostly on the Pacific Motorway with a short run in on Tweed Coast Road. Ballina and Lennox Head add around 20 to 30 minutes to those times.
There is no border crossing and no time-zone change on this corridor, which makes it one of the simplest journeys we run.
